Poll: More Believe Al Qaeda Is Biggest Problem In Iraq

I remember posting here last week that Bush was trying to get a weary American public, tired of Iraq, and reignite their support of the war by linking Al-Qaeda (and 9/11 in general) to the situation in Iraq. And it looks like it might be working. A new poll by Newsweek asks the question "...which of the following do you think is posing the biggest threat to peace and stability in Iraq?" 34 percent said it was Al-Qaeda in Iraq, more than any other group. I still have faith that most Americans realize that Iraq is a big fucking mess and it's nearly impossible to pin the blame on one particular group, when there are so many over there who hate us for being there.
