L.A. archdiocese to pay $660M for abuse

This is a landmark settlement. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles is paying out 600 million dollars in settlement money to hundreds of people who've been raped and molested over many years by these pedophiles of the cloth. I'd be even more pleased if these priests (as well as the higher-ups who've been protecting them) were apprehended, had nooses tied around their necks, and hung. But this is good enough, I guess. To all you churchgoers, think about where your money is going every time your local priest is asking you to put bills in the jar. It's going to pay for these lawyers who are defending the church from these lawsuits. Also think of WWJD: What Would Jesus Do? Would Jesus hire lawyers to protect child molesters? No, I don't think he would.
