Enjoyed your article on the economy. I ...Hey Jeff,<br /><br />Enjoyed your article on the economy. I just wanted to point out something profound that you kind of hit on, but then passed by.<br /><br />You said, "By 'normal', I mean a functioning economy with relatively decent jobs, provided that you have the education to qualify for them."<br /><br />Part of the problem with our economy and our karma, is that what you are longing for is an economy where if you get an education, you can get a job. A. Not everyone can get an education. So, even in your normal, there are a lot of oppressed and disenfranchised people. B. You are really buying into the vision of the power elite if you believe that--under normal circumstances--in you only had an education you could get a job.<br /><br />It is never that easy. But, "they" want us to long for their education, pay for their education, stand for their brainwashing.
